De Werff is a training institute for PSYCH-K® Workshops and PSYCH-K® Coaching.

Founder Paula van der Werff is 1 of about 30 international certified PSYCH-K® instructors and for the Basic Workshop was certified by Rob Williams, originator of PSYCH-K®. As a psychologist, Paula is affiliated with the Dutch Institute of Psychologists.

Martijn Lemmens has supported de Werff from the beginning with various activities including organizing and assisting with PSYCH-K® Workshops. From his director position at EY he has additionally focused as manager, team leader, coach and counselor on developing people and developing large (high performing) teams. As of 2022, as a PSYCH-K® Facilitator and coach, he is responsible for further shaping coaching within the Werff.

Academic background

Paula van der Werff did a double B.A. in Psychology and Educational Science at Tel-Aviv University in Israel. Subsequently, she received her M.A. in Social Psychology from Harvard University in the United States. She also taught Psychology for several years at Harvard College. In the Netherlands she became an NLP master and consultant for family and organizational constellations. She also holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Leiden University.

Martijn Lemmens has a background in computer science with a specialty in human-computer interaction. From 2003 he started to specialize in the profession of coach and trainer and then did various leadership training. He has an NLP practitioner, is a family constellation consultant and has years of experience as a PSYCH-K® facilitator.

Paula en Martijn private

Paula and Martijn are married and have two children, Tomer and Marit. They have a dog (Lexie), a cat (Krabbel) and three chickens (Kwebbel, Tok and Valerie). Paula’s hobbies are talking about PSYCH-K®, flower arranging, hiking and reading. Martijn enjoys running, playing tennis, kite surfing and riding motorcycles. Together they enjoy riding horses and are taking steps onto the salsa dance floor.
